"We highly recommend the team dealing with wills, trusts and probate. Remaking our wills became a much better experience as Jennifer Humphreys guided us through a more understandable and flexible format making us feel confident and comfortable with the arrangements. Similarly Christopher Howard gave an exccellent efficient and friendly service whilst dealing with two probate applications. The support staff were also very helpful and friendly and good communicators."

Dear Chris Cumberbatch

I know professionals are extremely busy and their time is precious, but it has been virtually impossible to obtain information about how to proceed with the situation of the house.

Your advice and information has been very, very helpful.

I thank you again profusely for all your patient help.

Yours sincerely,

Ms Burton

"We represent a consortium of Irish investors with a number of properties in the Greater London area. We have relied heavily on the expertise and personal attention shown by Marshall Hatchick and Colin Clark in particular since 2005 and we value their input highly. We are happy to recommend them to one and all."

Arts and Media

Arts and Media is a specialist area of our practice in London, which reflects certain partners' and consultants' shared interests in the arts and particularly music.

We act on behalf of a number of opera singers, actors and artists and are associated with arts institutions including the recital venue, Wigmore Hall in London. It was at Wigmore Hall that we sponsored the inaugural Norbert Brainin Foundation concert, of which Keith Hatchick is a trustee.

Our Woodbridge office in Suffolk has links with Aldeburgh Music, where we have sponsored recitals and concerts. Founding partner and tenor Nicholas Marshall, runner up in the Lieder section of the 2013 Suffolk Music Competition, has recently appeared as a soloist in 2 concerts in Aldeburgh promoted by the former head of Arts at the BBC Humphrey Burton. We also held a concert at The Riverside Theatre in Woodbridge with composer and pianist Ronan Magill, a local resident and protégé of Benjamin Britten.

Another area of the arts, in which we have been active, is introducing private benefactors to bodies such as the Southbank Sinfonia and the Wexford Festival Opera. Here we have facilitated setting up an annual bursary for young opera singers, supported by a private client.

Our areas of work in this field include:

  • Contractual arrangements
  • Immigration & work permits
  • Sponsorship agreements
  • Agent and manager agreements
