Testimonials

"Thanks for all your work on our behalf, we could not have done this ourselves."

MR & MRS W -

"My wife and I are both pensioners but still in good shape in both mind body. However, we both know that this will not remain the case for ever and so we decided to draw up lasting power of attorney documents. Jennifer Humphreys at Marshall Hatchick, Woodbridge, completed the paperwork for us in a thorough, careful and considerate manner. She explained all the implications and ensured that we understood the process. Our wishes in regard to our health and welfare and property and finance are now recorded and copies lodged with our appointed attorneys. We can't look into the future but are sure this was a wise step to take."

Dear Chris (Cumberbatch)

"Thank you for your work and much needed guidence throughout the process"

Mr D W -

Thank-you Mike (Thew) for all your efforts with the contract. We certainly ended up with a better agreement for our company and possibly for both sides. As perhaps a fringe benefit you’ve acquired two more admirers, B, P and Lord R!

Mr E. -

Chris Cumberbatch - 'Thank you for your friendly and efficient service. I will of course keep you in mind should we need anything in the future.'

Notary Public

JenniferHumphries-smJennifer qualified as a Notary Public in April 2009 after completing a two-year course with the University of Cambridge.

A Notary can perform Notarial acts which will be recognised in civil law jurisdictions and other common law jurisdictions, as well as in the United Kingdom. Therefore, most people instruct a Notary when they require a Notarial act for use overseas.

The most common tasks of a Notary are:
• Preparing and witnessing powers of attorney for use overseas
• Dealing with purchase or sale of land and property abroad
• Providing documents to deal with the administration of the estate of people who are abroad, or owning property abroad
• Authenticating personal documents and information for immigration or emigration purposes, or to apply to marry or to work abroad
• Authenticating company and business documents and transactions

Please telephone us on 01728 602323 to make an appointment to see Jennifer.

It helps a lot if you can send, email or fax a copy of the document you need notarised to Jennifer before your appointment. This will enable her to deal with the matter as quickly as possible.

When you attend the appointment, please bring with you evidence of your identity in the form of:
(a) a current valid passport; and
(b) a recent Council tax or utility bill (not mobile phone) to confirm your address.

Unfortunately these documents are required even if you are an existing client of Marshall Hatchick."
